The Emperor
 
This piece was inspired during a time I had lived abroad, I was meditating quite a lot and travelling to outer realms to gain some understanding about myself.
During this period of intense healing and gaining back my inner power,  there was a lot of inner turmoil.  A decision was made to regain my true self and activate my inner emperor/dragon and as a result, this piece was born.
 
The Red Dragon symbolizes luck and good fortune. Red is said to symbolize passion, energy, courage, security, health and increased magnetism.
 
In colour physcology and therapy, red has been shown to enhance, among others, perceived attractiveness, dominance, and assertiveness.
 
Having this piece in your surroundings stimulates grounding, power and strength.

Made using acrylic paints and partial glitter finish on stretched thin edged canvas.
